High School & Experimental Artwork
Throughout My High school Years...
I worked on many different types of medias in my high school years. I was in as many classes as I could be throughout my four years and my classmates knew me for my art.
In my Junior year of High school, I discovered what dry brush was.
If you are curious:
Dry Brush is oil paint! It's a technique that uses black oil paint directly from the tube. It does not include the use of turpentine OR linseed oil like normal oil paintings.
I loved the texture and the expressions I was able to make.
This painting was gifted to my grandmother.
She gave a raw human reaction that I hadn't seen from her before and thats when I first realized just how influential my art could be...

A Struggle And A Journey
I left the pencil drawing last because it shows a version of my internal adventure.
As an artist, you are known for your style.
I have always been searching and trying to find what makes my heart sing and my hands dance on the canvas. My Style.
Thats what this last piece portrays for me. It's a visual example of me hunting down that precious part of me. I see it just as it sees me, with equal curiosity and adrenaline to what will come next...
